Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and SkillBonds, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, India ("SkillBonds"). By creating an account or using SkillBonds you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

1. Who can use SkillBonds

• You must be 18 or older. SkillBonds does not offer student accounts and does not collect students' details.
• Give true information about yourself or your institute, keep it up to date, and use one personal account. An institute account must be created by someone allowed to act for the institute.
• Keep your password and sign-in codes private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

2. What SkillBonds is - and is not

SkillBonds is a platform where teachers, staff and institutes publish profiles, jobs and posts and contact each other, and where parents and the public can follow them. We are not an employer, recruitment agent or party to any job, and we do not guarantee that a job, candidate or institute is suitable. A Verified badge means an institute sent documents we checked at that time; it is not a guarantee about its conduct. Always make your own checks before accepting a job or hiring someone.

3. Institutes posting jobs

• Post only real vacancies, with honest details about the job, pay and location.
• Never ask a candidate for money - for an application, interview, training or "registration".
• Do not exclude people for their religion, caste, gender, disability or similar reasons where the law does not allow it, and follow the labour laws that apply to you.
• Use candidates' data only to hire for that job.

4. Your content

• You own what you post (posts, pictures, videos, documents). You give SkillBonds a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, show and share it on SkillBonds as your settings allow, for as long as it is on the site.
• Post only what you have the right to share. If students appear in a picture or video, you must have permission from the school and from their parents.
• We may remove content or limit an account that breaks these terms or the law, or when we are required to.

5. Things you must not do

• Abuse, threaten, harass or use offensive words; impersonate anyone; create fake profiles or fake jobs.
• Scam people, ask for money for jobs, or share anything illegal, sexual, or harmful to children.
• Collect other people's data, send spam, copy the site automatically ("scraping"), or try to break its security.

6. Reports, removal and closing accounts

Anyone can report content or an account. We review reports and may remove content, suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Me → Your data.

7. Complaints

Complaints about content or about these terms go to our Grievance Officer, as the Information Technology Rules, 2021 require.

8. Liability

SkillBonds is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what users post or do, for decisions you make based on information on SkillBonds, or for losses from interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; for important changes we will tell you and ask you to accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, have jurisdiction.
